Importance and distribution

Fraxinicola comprises three species. Fraxinicola europaea is known on Betula pubescens (Betulaceae) in Europe (Switzerland), F. fraxini is reported on leaves of Fraxinus excelsior (Oleaceae) in Europe (Germany, Switzerland) and F. italica was found on leaf in Europe (Italy) and may comprise many more species.
