Importance and distribution

Acroconidiellina comprises four species known on Areca catechu (Arecaceae), Chloris gayana (Poaceae), Cynodon dactylon (Poaceae), Loudetia arundinacea (Poaceae), Salacca wallichiana (Arecaceae) and Trichachne insularis (Poaceae). Acroconidiellina is reported from Africa (Tanzania, Zambia), Asia (China, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka), Australia (Papua New Guinea), North America (Caribbean, The United States) and Oceania (Solomon Islands).
