Importance and distribution

Pleohelicoon comprises two species. Pleohelicoon fagi is known on decaying cupule of Fagus sylvatica (Fagaceae) in Europe (United Kingdom) while P. richonis is reported from dead branch of Populus sp. (Salicaceae) in Europe (France).
