Importance and distribution
Biochemical importance of the genus, chemical diversity or applications
Setomelanomma produces allergen m8 (Thermo Fisher Scientific 2021). The chemical application of the genus is not well-studied. Setomelanomma comprises only one species known on branch of Picea pungens (Pinaceae) in Europe (France).
