Importance and distribution

Parabambusicola comprises two species. Parabambusicola bambusina was reported on dead twigs of Sasa kurilensis (Poaceae) in Asia (Japan (Hokkaido)) while P. thysanolaenae was reported from dead stems of Thysanolaena maxima in Asia (China (Yunnan)).
