Parmulina exsculpta

Parmulina exsculpta (Berk.) Theiss. & Syd. [as 'exculpta'], Annls mycol. 12(1): 45 (1914).

Importance and distribution

There are nine Parmulina epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), but five species have been transferred to Hysterostomella and Rhagadolobium. Parmulina comprises five species known on leaves of Aporosa lindleyana (Phyllanthaceae) and Daphniphyllum teijsmannii (Daphniphyllaceae). Parmulina is reported from Asia (Japan, Sri Lanka).
