Importance and distribution

Clypeosphaerella comprises three saprobic species known on Calotropis procera (Apocynaceae), Eucalyptus sp. (Myrtaceae) and Sticherus bifidus (Gleicheniaceae). Clypeosphaerella is reported from Asia (Thailand), Caribbean (Cuba) and South America (Brazil).
