Hysteroglonium ovatum

Hysteroglonium ovatum (Cooke) Lindau, in Engler & Prantl, Nat. Pflanzenfam., Teil. I (Leipzig) 1(1): 274 (1897).

Importance and distribution

Hysteroglonium contains three species. Hysteroglonium minimum was found on leaves of Artemisia camphorata (Asteraceae) in Europe (Italy (Venice)). Hysteroglonium ovatum is reported on wood of Quercus (Fagaceae) in North America and H. rokkoense has been found on culms of Sasa purpurascens (Gramineae, Bambusoideae) in Asia (Japan).
