Importance and distribution
Taphrophila comprises four species known on Ammophila arenaria (Poaceae), Carex paniculata (Cyperaceae), Molinia caerulea (Poaceae) and rotten leaves of Deschampsia cespitosa (Poaceae). Taphrophila is reported from Europe (Austria, Belgium, United Kingdom).
