Importance and distribution
Neohelicomyces comprises eight species on three hosts in Myrtaceae, Pandanaceae and Poaceae. Neohelicomyces is recorded in Asia (China, Japan), Europe (Czech Republic, Germany, Italy) and The United States (Massachusetts).
