Boerlagiomyces velutinus

Importance and distribution

Boerlagiomyces comprises eight species known on Bambusa sp. (Poaceae), Machilus velutina (Lauraceae), Pinus massoniana (Pinaceae), Populus ciliata (Salicaceae), Schefflera morototoni (Araliaceae), Tectona grandis (Lamiaceae) and Vitex negundo (Lamiaceae). Boerlagiomyces is reported from Asia (Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Thailand), Australia and the United States (West Indies).
