Importance and distribution
Acanthohelicospora comprises four species known from Pinus sp. and Tsuga canadensis (Pinaceae). Acanthohelicospora is known from Asia (Thailand), North America (New York) and South America (Guyana) (Boonmee et al. 2014, Rossman et al. 2016, Lu et al. 2018b).
