Importance and distribution

Magnicamarosporium comprises two species. Magnicamarosporium diospyricola is reported from dead twigs of Diospyros malabarica (Ebenaceae) while M. iriomotense is reported on dead twigs of Diplospora dubia (Rubiaceae) in Asia (Thailand and Japan respectively).
