Diversity of the genus

Inflatispora comprises two species known on dead rachis of Caryota (Arecaceae) in Thailand and on decorticated wood of Rhamnus alpina (Rhamnaceae) in forest litter in France. The diversity of Inflatispora is still poorly understood. Inflatispora may comprise many more species that needs to be discovered and described.
