Importance and distribution
There are 41 Clathrospora epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), but several species have been transferred to Graphyllium, Platysporoides and Pleospora. Clathrospora comprises 20 species known on a wide range of hosts. Clathrospora has a wide distribution including Asia (India, Uzbekistan), Europe (Austria, France, Greenland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland) and The United States (Alaska, California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington).
