Importance and distribution

Beverwykella comprises three species known on rotten angiospermic leaves immersed in stream in Asia (Malaysia), leaves of Pinus serotina (Pinaceae), shrubs submerged in puddles in the United States (North Carolina) and Europe (Netherlands, United Kingdom).
