Importance and distribution
Populocrescentia comprises three species. Populocrescentia ammophilae is reported on dead stems of Ammophila arenaria (Poaceae) in Europe (Italy). Populocrescentia forlicesenensis is known on dead branches of Populus nigra (Salicaceae) in Europe (Italy). Populocrescentia rosae is known on branches of Rosa hissarica (Rosaceae) in Asia (Uzbekistan).
