Importance and distribution

Phaeopoacea comprises four species known on overwintered stems of Asparagus (Asparagaceae) in Europe (Ukraine), dead stems of Festuca pratensis (Poaceae) in Asia (China (Yunnan)) and Europe (Italy) and dried leaf sheath of Phragmites communis (Poaceae) in Europe (Switzerland).
