Importance and distribution

There are eight Juncaceicola epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), but J. typharum has been transferred to Typhicola. Juncaceicola comprises seven species known on six plant hosts in Asteraceae, Juncaceae and Poaceae in Europe (Italy, Switzerland).
