Importance and distribution

Pleopunctum comprise three species. Pleopunctum ellipsoideum and P. pseudoellipsoideum were found on decaying wood and P. clematidis was reported from Clematis sikkimensis (Ranunculaceae). Pleopunctum is known from Asia (China and Thailand).
