Importance and distribution

Pseudodidymella comprises two species known on Fagus (Fagaceae) species from Asia (Japan) and Europe (Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland) causing mainly leaf blotch of Japanese beech, F. crenata (Ogris et al. 2019).
