Importance and distribution
Neovaginatispora comprises two species. Neovaginatispora clematidis is reported on dead stems of Clematis viticella (Ranunculaceae) in Europe (Belgium). Neovaginatispora fuckelii is reported on Mangifera indica (Anacardiaceae) in Asia (China (Taiwan)) and on unknown plant in Asia (Japan).
