Importance and distribution
Libertasomyces comprises four species known on four host plants in Asphodelaceae, Fagaceae, Platanaceae and Scrophulariaceae. Libertasomyces has been reported mainly from Europe (Spain), New Zealand and South Africa (Western Cape Province).
