Importance and distribution

Subplenodomus comprises five species known on Apium graveolens (Apiaceae), Eustoma exaltatum (Gentianaceae), Gentiana makinoi (Gentianaceae), Iris sp. (Iridaceae), Valeriana officinalis (Caprifoliaceae) and Viola tricolor (Violaceae). Subplenodomus is known from Europe (Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom) and New Zealand.
