Importance and distribution
Setoseptoria comprises seven species known on Phragmites communis (Poaceae) in Asia (Hong Kong) and Europe (United Kingdom), on dead herbaceous stems submerged in a small river in Asia (Japan) and on dead branch of Scirpus (Cyperaceae) in Europe (United Kingdom).
