Notes: Vacuiphoma was introduced by Valenz.-Lopez et al. (2018) with V. bulgarica as type species. Vacuiphoma is characterized by pycnidial, brown to dark brown, solitary, glabrous, subglobose or obpyriform conidiomata, pycnidial wall of textura angularis, non-papillate. Vacuiphoma is unique and was named based on the existence of empty pycnidial structures. Vacuiphoma is phylogenetically a distinct genus in Didymellaceae.
