Importance and distribution

Staurosphaeria comprises four species known on Aloe dichotoma (Asphodelaceae), Lycium sp. (Solanaceae) and Rhamnus sp. (Rhamnaceae). Staurosphaeria has been reported from Asia (Russia, Uzbekistan), Europe (Germany, Hungary, Netherlands) and South Africa.
