Notes: Alfoldia was collected from surface-sterilized roots and grown on general media. Alfoldia is a root endophyte found on woody plant species of semiarid grasslands of the Great Hungarian Plain. Alfoldia is a distinct genus in Amorosiaceae. Molecular markers available for Alfoldia are LSU, SSU, ITS and TEF-1.
