Rhizodiscina lignyota

Importance and distribution

Rhizodiscina comprises two species. Rhizodiscina lignyota is known on Quercus sp. (Fagaceae) in Europe (Germany) while R. proteae is found on twig litter of Protea laurifolia (Proteaceae) in Western Cape Province, South Africa.
