Importance and distribution
Verrucispora species are associated with leaf spot. Verrucispora comprises five species known on Finschia chloroxantha (Proteaceae), leaves of Bridelia retusa (Phyllanthaceae), Luculia gratissima (Rubiaceae) and Smilax sp. (Smilacaceae). Verrucispora is reported from Asia (India (Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Nepal, Uttar Pradesh)) and Papua New Guinea.
