Notes: Pseudopuccinia is characterised by conidiophores with annellations and pale to brown, verrucose, ellipsoid-obovoid conidia. Seifert et al. (2011) mentioned Pseudopuccinia as a synonym of Stigmina. Braun and Crous (2006) and Crous et al. (2013a) considered Pseudopuccinia as a synonym of Pseudocercospora. The placement of Pseudopuccinia in Mycosphaerellaceae is doubtful. Fresh collections with DNA sequence data are needed to confirm the taxonomic position of Pseudopuccinia.
