Importance and distribution

Polyphialoseptoria comprises three species known on two host plants in Bignoniaceae and Combretaceae. Polyphialoseptoria is reported from South Africa and South America (Brazil). Species of Polyphialoseptoria are pathogenic and cause disease on the host.
