Importance and distribution

Phlyctaeniella comprises four species known on Humulus lupulus (Cannabaceae), stored logs of Eucalyptus (Myrtaceae), dead stems of Aruncus sylvestris (Rosaceae) and leaves of Galium pilosum (Rubiaceae). Phlyctaeniella is reported from Asia (India), Europe (Czech Republic, Poland) and North America.
