Importance and distribution
Species of Paracercospora cause yellow leaf spots on three host plants in families Paulowniaceae, Rutaceae and Salicaceae. There are six Paracercospora epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), but three have been transferred to Pseudocercospora. Paracercospora has been reported from Africa and Asia (China, Hong-Kong, Japan).
