Importance and distribution

Although there are three Miuraea epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), two species, M. asiminae and M. persicae were transferred to Mycosphaerella and Pseudocercospora. Miuraea comprises only one species known on living leaves of Prunus mume (Rosaceae) in Asia (Japan).
