Importance and distribution
Lembosiopsis comprises three species known on leaves and stems of Andromeda nitida (Ericaceae), Eucalyptus cosmophylla (Myrtaceae) and E. gigantea (Myrtaceae). Lembosiopsis is reported from Australia, South Africa (Mpumalanga) and the The United States (Mississippi).
Quarantine significance
Lembosiopsis might be of quarantine significance in South Africa as it causes foliar disease of Eucalyptus, especially E. delegatensis and E. globulus (Crous et al. 2019; FAO 2010).
