Importance and distribution
Species of Lecanostictopsis are associated with leaf spots. Lecanostictopsis comprises four species known on leaves of Eucalyptus (Myrtaceae) and Syzygium sp. (Myrtaceae). Lecanostictopsis is reported from Africa (Ethiopia), Asia (India) and Europe (France). The diversity of Lecanostictopsis is poorly studied. More specimens of Lecanostictopsis are needed to understand the diversity and taxonomy of the genus.
