Importance and distribution

Denticularia comprises seven species causing leaf spots on five host plants and plant families namely Anacardiaceae, Asteracaeae, Euphorbiaceae, Fagaceae and Moraceae. Denticularia is reported from Africa (Sierra Leone), Asia (Japan, Sri Lanka) and the United States (Wisconsin).
