Importance and distribution

Clarohilum comprises only one species producing leaf spots on Manihot spp. (Euphorbiaceae). Clarohilum is widely distributed in tropical areas such as Africa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Asia (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China), Caribbean (Barbados), Oceania (Australia, Democratic Republic of the Cook Islands) and South America (Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia).
