Importance and distribution
Phaeothyriolum comprises seven species known on branch of Smilax (Smilacaceae), Corymbia maculata (Myrtaceae), Eucalyptus pauciflora (Myrtaceae), leaf litter and living leaves of Eucalyptus (Myrtaceae). Phaeothyriolum is reported from Asia (Sri Lanka), Australia (New South Wales) and the United States (Florida).
