Importance and distribution
There are 16 Acrocordia epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), but several species have been transferred to Agonimia, Anisomeridium, Arthopyrenia and Collemopsidium. Acrocordia comprises ten species known on Fraxinus sp. (Oleaceae) and Quercus pubescens (Fagaceae) in Europe (France, the United Kingdom).
