Importance and distribution

Seynesiella comprises five species known on dead leaves of Juniperus communis (Cupressaceae), on leaves of Melaleuca quinquenervia (Myrtaceae), on leaves of Sequoia (Cupressaceae), and on leaves of Syzygium rubiginosum (Myrtaceae). Seynesiella is reported from Australia (Queensland), Europe (France), South America (Canada (Québec)) and the United States (California).
