Importance and distribution

Calothyriopsis comprises four species known on fruit of Malus pumila (Rosaceae), leaves of Pouteria (Sapotaceae) and living leaves of Roupala veraguensis (Proteaceae). Calothyriopsis is reported from Asia (India (Maharashtra)), Central America (Costa Rica) and South America (Brazil).
