Importance and distribution
Two species of Arnaudiella, A. caronae and A. eucalyptorum have been transferred to Pycnoseynesia and Phaeothyriolum, respectively. Arnaudiella comprises ten species known on a wide range of host such as Belairia spinosa (Papilionaceae), Bupleurum fruticescens (Apiaceae), Cytisus scoparius (Fabaceae), Empetrum nigrum (Ericaceae), Eucalyptus sp. (Myrtaceae), Fitzroya cupressoides (Cupressaceae), Genista horrida (Fabaceae), Lobelia stricta (Campanulaceae), Panicum antidotale (Poaceae), Podocarpus uviferum (Cupressaceae), Polystachya sp. (Orchidaceae) and Sarothamnus sp. (Fabaceae). Arnaudiella is reported from Africa (Ethiopia), Asia (Pakistan), Australia, Europe (Finland, France, Spain, Sweden), North America (Caribbean (Cuba) and South America (Chile).
