Importance and distribution

Manglicola comprises two species. Manglicola guatemalensis is reported from bark of dead root, or from seedling, of Rhizophora mangle (Rhizophoraceae) in Central America (Guatemala). Manglicola samuelsii is known on dead culm of bamboo (Poaceae) in South America (Guyana).
