Vizella conferta

Importance and distribution

One species Vizella disciformis has been transferred to Blasdalea. Vizella comprises 30 species known on a wide range of plants such as Alstonia sp. (Apocynaceae), Chrysophyllum sp. (Sapotaceae), Craterispermum sp. (Rubiaceae), Cremaspora sp. (Rubiaceae), Ficus sp. (Moraceae), Ilex dipyrena (Aquifoliaceae), Lomandra longifolia (Asparagaceae), Macrolobium sp. (Fabaceae), Pavetta sp. (Rubiaceae), Symplocos sp. (Symplocaceae), Tetrorchidium sp. (Euphorbiaceae) and Trochocarpa laurina (Ericaceae). Vizella is reported from Africa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Asia (India, Philippines), Australia, Oceania (New Zealand) and South America (Brazil).
