Importance and distribution
Uredinophila comprises two species parasitic on rust fungi on living leaves of Bambusa blumeana (Poaceae) and living fronds of Blechnum (Blechnaceae). Uredinophila is reported from Asia (Philippines) and South America (Brazil, Paraguay).
