Importance and distribution

Plagiostromella comprises four species known on bark of Berberis aristata (Berberidaceae), Leptodermis lanceolata (Rubiaceae), Sapindus (Sapindaceae) and Pentapanax parasiticus (Araliaceae). Plagiostromella is reported from Asia (India and Japan).
