Importance and distribution
Perischizon comprises three species known on Araucaria brasiliana (Araucariaceae), Cassine aethiopica (Celastraceae), Elaeodendron croceum (Celastraceae) and Olea capensis (Oleaceae). Perischizon is reported from Africa (Tanzania) and South America (Brazil).
