Importance and distribution

Peltasterella comprises seven species known on leaves of Didymopanax morototoni (Araliaceae), Glochidion ramosii (Phyllanthaceae), Jasminum (Oleaceae), Ocotea (Lauraceae) and Trichocladus ellipticus (Hamamelidaceae). Peltasterella is reported from Africa (Ghana, South Africa), Asia (Philippines) and South America (Brazil).
